Most of the Storrers in Ohio came from some other original Storrer settlement. Archbold is one such group, derived mostly from Kansans. The Ohio Turnpike (currently renumbering exits to confirm to Federal standards) has added an Archbold exit.

Another Storrer family settled directly in Montpelier. The elementary school is named after one of this family.
